Object:Photo examines the content and techniques of 341 photographs taken between the two world wars. The mission was to organize and present three historical essays, nine conservation essays with diagrams and tables, 100 plates, and 341 catalogue entries in a graceful and accessible way. This may have been the most complex of all the complex projects I’ve worked on. The challenges were tempered by the wonderful team. I am particularly thankful for having had the opportunity to work with Maria Morris Hambourg, in my studio. She exemplifies grace in working with others and challenged me to see in new ways.
